Celebrating 750 years as a parish…

Bishop Tony joined the Rev’d Trevor Kirkham, current Rector of Plumtree and special guest, The Rt Hon Ken Clarke MP as St Mary Magdalene’s Church in Keyworth celebrated 750 years as a parish. Special services, a history exhibition and flower festival took place over the weekend, on Saturday 21st July – the Eve of St Mary Magdalene – and Sunday 22nd.

Fr Tom Meyrick said: “The weekend, with its flower festival, history displays, and special services, was a true celebration of God’s grace shown in all the people who have been and are part of his church in Keyworth.”
