St Mary’s Church, Arnold – Sessional worker job description and expectations
Responsibility for planning and co-ordinating the R2 Youth Group.
Ages School Years 9 to 13. (Age 14-18)
Preparation time per week one hour
Sunday Evening Session 7.45 to 9.15pm plus 30 minutes for setting up and clearing away
Hours in total per week: Three
Pay £11.50 an hour.
Expenses – all reasonable expenses with receipts for the sessions will be reimbursed. This does not include travel. Expenditure to be agreed before purchase.

Job Description for part-time
Children and Families worker
Responsible to: Revd Anthony Giles, Vicar, and the PCC of St Swithun’s Woodborough.
Basic terms: 20 hours a week spread across the period Wednesday through to Sunday and always by clear negotiation against the Children and Families strategies agreed.
Starting salary of £14,000 inclusive of pension per year, annually reviewed and to include a 3 month initial probation period.
18 days holiday (excluding bank holidays). Expenses paid in full
Initial three year contract.
There is a genuine occupational requirement that the post holder is a Christian.
The post is subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure.
