Fun and Fair to help the homeless

Summer Fun and Fair in the Park is happening on Saturday July 13th at St Paul’s Boundary Road and once again the church is bringing its summer fair out from its backyard and into the community – with all proceeds going to The Friary, which works locally to help end homelessness.

The event has proved hugely popular for the past three years. It’s free to enter and there will be  a Grand Raffle with amazing prizes, Have – a – Go Zumba, Belly Dancing display, tea and cakes and all the usual stalls including plants, bric-a-brac, games and books.

Liz Jones said: “St Paul’s loves West Bridgford and wants to be out there among people and not simply in the Church Halls. That’s why we stage our Summer Fair on the Boundary Road Playing Fields opposite our Church in West Bridgford. So we hope everyone from the local area will want to come and join in all the fun together.”

Fun and Fair in the Park is from 1.00 pm – 3.00 pm on the Boundary Road playing fields opposite St Paul’s Church in West Bridgford. In the event of really bad weather conditions, attractions will be held in the Church Halls.
