Fund launched to support New Worshipping Communities
Over the last two years, the refreshed diocesan vision has been to recognise the imperative for ‘Growing Disciples: Wider, Younger and Deeper’.
We want to facilitate growing new disciples in every parish, and by 2023 we hope that there will be at least 75 new worshipping communities reaching widely into all parts of our diocese.
Today we are launching a new fund to support churches that want to set up new worshipping communities whether they minister in an urban or suburban centre, outer estates, market towns or smaller rural communities.
The fund will offer grants from £2,000 to £40,000 to those churches that meet the criteria.
