Pray for oneLIFE mission says Bishop Paul in video message

In a newly released video, Bishop Paul encourages people to pray for the oneLIFE mission, that it will lead to many people taking a new step in faith.

The Bishop says it is an opportunity to meet people, to engage with their questions about life, and to talk about the hope that is found in Jesus.

The mission runs from Thursday 12th September to Sunday 15th September; sixteen Bishops and their teams from the north of England will be in the Diocese taking part in the many outreach events and activities organised by local churches.

The Archbishop of York will also be here; after taking part in the launch event at Field Mill, the home of Mansfield Town FC, he will be visiting schools, prisons, Nottingham Trent University, and Southwell Minster, where he will preach on the Sunday morning.

A range of resources are available to help churches plan and publicise their events to get the maximum number of people through their doors. There is also guidance on photo consent for children, young people and vulnerable adults.
