An opportunity has arisen for a new headteacher at Underwood C of E Primary School due to the retirement of our existing headteacher. This is a full-time post available from 1 September 2025.

The successful candidate will currently be a Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher or experienced Senior Leader. We are looking for a dynamic and compassionate leader who shares our school vision and ethos, and is committed to excellence in all aspects of the school. The successful candidate will possess the ability to inspire and motivate a team, have sound financial acumen, and a genuine passion for excellent primary education for the whole child. 

The headteacher will have the opportunity to work closely with our respected and talented staff, supportive and enthusiastic governors, and an engaged community of parents and carers. We are looking for someone who can build on our successes, drive forward school improvement, lead with integrity and kindness, and uphold our Christian values.
