Children & Family Lead, St Barnabas Lenton Abbey
Part-time 18hrs/week (including Sundays) / £25,00-£27,000 p.a. (depending on experience) pro rata (plus 8% NEST pension contribution) / Initially for 3 years

St Barnabas Church, Lenton Abbey, is entering an exciting new season and is seeking a warm, creative and committed Christian to join us as our Children and Family Lead. This role combines hands-on delivery with vision setting and helping us grow and deepen our work with children and families, both within the church and across our parish.
This role will involve:
- Leading and building a team to develop activities on Sundays, including helping develop our monthly intergenerational Café Church
- Launching new weekly term-time groups, including a toddler group
- Developing relationships with our local primary school
- Developing and planning occasional holiday and community events, including our “Filling Station” which combines a small “holiday hunger” initiative with seasonal activities (currently at Christmas and Easter)
- Supporting teams of volunteers.
