Farsi Speakers Ministry Lead, St Nic’s Nottingham

Part-time 7.5hrs/week / £6,484 (FTE £32,422) / Fixed term contract for one year

St Nic’s are looking for a Farsi Speakers Ministry Lead to join our team, supporting our growing Farsi-speaking community.

The number of Farsi speaking members of St Nic’s has increased rapidly over the past 18 months. They now number around 50 and gather for a Bible Study at the church on Wednesday evening. As a church, we have attempted to incorporate cultural elements into our worship, celebrating Nowruz together for the past two years, and holding a Yalda service in December 2025. The purpose of this post is to support, and continue to build, the Farsi community at St Nic’s and enable them, along with other languages and cultures, to integrate into the life of our intercultural church.

Fluency in Farsi and English, and a mature Christian faith, are required.
