Every Easter, people from across the East Leake Benefice join together for the Good Friday Walk: an all day ramble through the South Notts countryside, visiting each of our village churches to worship, pray and tell the story of the Cross of Christ. Two years ago, Southwell Minster were fortunate to be blessed with a bench donated by the Cathedral and Diocese that sits in the Palace gardens. From the bench you can see right across the gardens which are stunning especially when in bloom. The bench was dedicated and blessed to those who have experienced or are experiencing trauma and was somewhere it was hoped people may find solace.
