Associate Minister (House for Duty) – St Mary’s, East Leake

Ministerial Vacancies

Working for us as a member of clergy in one of our rural, urban, or inner city parishes will be as varied and interesting as the people of Nottinghamshire you serve. The diocese is based in the heart of the East Midlands, close to the bustling city of Nottingham, and with easy access to London by train with good transport links up, down and across the country. You can be assured of regular pastoral and spiritual support from our Discipleship and Ministry Team, ensuring that your development needs are met in your Ministerial Development Review, with opportunities for peer support and personal growth.

This House for Duty post, part of the St Mary’s Staff Team, is an exciting opportunity to support the diverse and rural communities of South Notts, working alongside lay leaders and retired clergy under the oversight leadership of Revd Tim Parker.

During the pandemic, church members have worked collaboratively, taking on new responsibilities, with new services and community opportunities, providing a platform for the new incumbent to develop thriving church communities.  This permanent post offers accommodation in the attractive village of Sutton Bonington, which has excellent facilities, and is conveniently situated for road, rail and air travel.
