Part-time 18 hours per week / £14,400 (based on £30k FTE) / fixed term for 12 months with possible extension
Purpose of the Role
Coordinate current children and young people’s worship and discipleship activities with a view to enhancing these to achieve SMR’s Growing Disciples Plan. Pioneer new opportunities to develop ministry among children and families, including enabling SMR to re-engage missionally with the wider, younger Radcliffe community. This activity would be expected to nurture and develop our existing young people and yield a cohort of new young disciples.
Special Requirements
Willing and able to work flexibly, recognising that Church life does not fit normal office hours. You can expect to work some evenings and weekends and to attend and participate in meetings/events.
Working Pattern
The working hours for the role are 18 per week.
Hours spread over 3 days (6 hours per day), 1 of which will be a Sunday. Exact working pattern will be discussed at Interview and will be reviewed throughout the probationary period. Flexible working is essential according to the needs of the role and responsibilities.
