Emerging Generations Team Leader, Christ Church Worksop & St Luke’s Shireoaks

35 hours per week / £25,000 – £30,000 depending on experience (plus 10% pension contribution) / 2-year fixed-term appointment with the possibility of an additional 4 years

At Christ Church and St Luke’s our vision is to be ‘A community of grace, loving God and neighbour’. We are passionate about our churches being places where we encounter the love and grace of God, and where our people are equipped to share that love with our communities.

We have a thriving youth and children’s ministry, a part-time family minister and a committed team of volunteers. 

We are now looking for a full-time strategic leader to oversee all our work with under 18s, ensuring this vision is central to our youth and children’s work.

This person will be a key voice in our core leadership team as we seek to bring children and youth ministry into the heart of our vision and strategy as a benefice. 

We are looking for someone to bring passionate and energetic leadership to our existing teams, as well as to motivate, recruit and train new leaders to meet the demands of this growing ministry. 

This role is mission-shaped and a key aspect of the job would be to develop missional initiatives and new worshipping communities to expand the reach of our current provision. This will likely be achieved in part through our close links with primary schools in the benefice
