Interim Children & Families Lead, Holy Trinity Lenton

18 hours per week / Salary: £25,000 – £27,000 pro rata (depending on experience) / 1 year fixed term (maternity cover)

Holy Trinity is the Anglican church located the heart of Lenton, just outside Nottingham city centre. The parish has a population of over 20,000 and is home to two primary schools, Edna G. Olds and Dunkirk Primary. At present, around 100-110 adults and 15-20 children attend each Sunday across three congregations: 9.15am at The Priory Church and 10.30am & 7pm at HT. Our 10.30 service currently includes provision for under 11s in the form of our creche (under 2s), Tots (2-4) and Kids (5-8) groups.

HT’s vision is to be ‘a hopeful presence in our community, a place where you can come home and become a whole-life follower of Jesus.’ Our objective over the next 2 years, as agreed with our diocese, is to grow our regular Sunday attendance to 100 adults and with 25 school aged children forming part of our regular worshipping community. In August 2023, we appointed a Children and Families Lead who has played a key role in the growth and development of our ministry amongst 0-11s and the wider church family. In order to maintain and develop this ministry, we are seeking to appoint an Interim Children and Families Lead (Maternity Cover).
