Working for us as a member of clergy in one of our rural, urban, or inner city parishes will be as varied and interesting as the people of Nottinghamshire you serve. The diocese is based in the heart of the East Midlands, close to the bustling city of Nottingham, and with easy access to London by train with good transport links up, down and across the country. You can be assured of regular pastoral and spiritual support from our Discipleship and Ministry Team, ensuring that your development needs are met in your Ministerial Development Review, with opportunities for peer support and personal growth.

Are you excited by the prospect of growing a resource church that can be a blessing to Kirkby and see lives transformed through encountering God? Can you build teams, develop strategy and vision and take people with you?
Kirkby is a bustling town with shops and amenities with a great sense of community, good transport links and wonderful countryside on the doorstep.
The next Priest of St Thomas’ and St Wilfrid’s will be working with the PCCs, the diocese and our national Church adviser to oversee and implement the missional plan to grow St Thomas’ and create new worshipping communities and new congregations across the town over the next five years. To achieve this numerical and spiritual potential, the Priest will be involved in appointing a team (operations manager, children and families’ worker, worship leader) for at least the next five years funded by the Archbishop’s Council.
