Youth and Children’s Minister, St Luke’s Gamston & Bridgford

Full-time 35.7hrs/week / 30,000 per annum plus 10% pension contribution) / We welcome applications from individuals seeking either full-time or part-time hours, and are happy to explore flexible working arrangements.

This is an exciting opportunity, to take on a strategic role, that will help shape future ministry, in a church that is passionate about reaching out to children, young people and their families. With a range of opportunities that are developing across two congregations at Leahurst Road and our new worshipping community Connect Gamston this is a great time to join us.

We are looking for an inspiring and faith-filled individual who feels called to be a part of all God is doing here. Someone who will join our leadership team and play a key role in helping us move forward with our vision of sharing the living hope of Jesus with children and young people, providing them with opportunities to meet Jesus and grow in their Christian faith and ensuring that the church reaches out to younger generations in engaging and relevant ways.

Operating as “one church with two doors” we have a variety of discipleship groups and activities going on for different age groups from toddlers to teenagers. This role will involve supporting this work whilst also pioneering some new outreach initiatives including building on opportunities that have emerged through our community café and our links with Pierrepont Gamston Primary School.
