Youth Worker, All Hallows Lady Bay

Full time 35 hours (Open to a candidate starting with fewer hours and working up to full time) / Salary: £26,250 plus pension / Fixed Term for 3 years (with a view to making permanent dependent on funding)

Do you have a passion to see young people come to and grow in their faith in Jesus? Are you passionate about seeing the church reach out to young people in the local community? Then we’d love you to consider applying to become our Youth Worker.

This role is for someone who can lead, enable and seek out new opportunities for young people to experience belonging and transformation in Jesus and in our local church. It will build on recently launched Youth Space Tuesdays (after-school drop-in) and Youth Space Sundays (discipleship group). We have strong relationships with other local churches with potential for joint missional outreach and hope to form connections with local secondary schools.

Lady Bay Church is a now-flourishing church which welcomed a church ‘graft’ three years ago, in September 2021. Since then we have seen the church grow in depth and number, and people are coming to faith in Christ. We are committed to be a church family that grows together as followers of Jesus and “to be a generous presence at the heart of Lady Bay” and beyond.
