Last night, in a special service at Saint Cyprian's Church, Nottingham, Fr Lee Dunleavy (who is a curate in this diocese) was ordained as Priest. Every year, the Archdeacons’ Visitations take place. These are formal church services, during which Churchwardens across each Archdeaconry are admitted. Archdeacon Tors Ramsey and Archdeacon Phil Williams gave thanks for the invaluable contribution churchwardens have made as well as celebrated those who are about to step into a new role.

The first Sunday in March was a joyful day in Radcliffe-on-Trent with 2 youth baptisms in the morning and 9 confirmations in the evening. The day started with a real sense of excitement in the morning service, as two brothers were getting ready to be baptised. Josie is a student in Nottingham, and after realising for herself how much she needed God in her late teens, over the past few years has had lots of opportunities to share her faith with her friends at university. Sunday morning was a joyful occasion at St Michael and All Angels, Bramcote, as Revd Matt Roberts was officially instituted by Bishop Andy, and inducted and installed by Archdeacon Phil Williams as the new Vicar of St Michael's Bramcote.
