A life-changing detour – Neil’s Living Hope Story
“Since that day my life has been changed.” Neil recently joined us to share his story of how a detour on his way to the gym when he was struggling with poor mental health, led to a life-changing encounter with Jesus. Since walking into church when he felt he had nothing to lose, he has felt a weight lifted and discovered the Living Hope of Christ. Neil is based at Holy Trinity Lenton. Pancake Celebration Stories
It was great to see pancake celebrations taking place across parishes in the diocese on Shrove Tuesday, bringing together families and the community. Below are some highlights. St Helen's Stapleford To celebrate Shrove Tuesday, St Helen's hosted a pancake party for their youth, blending fun with reflection. They played games, ate lots of pancakes and explored the meaning of Shrove. Lord, I need you – Dylan’s Living Hope Story
“No matter who you are, God loves you.” We loved hearing Dylan's story, and his joy in sharing his faith with the next generation. Dylan has grown up going to church with his mum and brother, but he discovered faith for himself at a church camp, which was reaffirmed when he found himself in a situation where he really needed God to show up.
