Monday evening marked a joyful and Spirit-filled occasion at St Mark's Woodthorpe as the Revd Daniel Bocchetti was licensed as Vicar of the Benefice of Woodthorpe. The service was led by Bishop Paul, and the church was filled with members of the congregation, visiting clergy, community representatives and friends who gathered to welcome Daniel and his family. It was an uplifting and encouraging evening on Sunday celebrating and confirming 27 candidates from across Bassetlaw & Bawtry Deanery at a service at St John's Worksop. Living Hope Conference 2025
The Living Hope Conference is an annual diocesan education gathering, held this year on Tuesday 4th November. These conferences aim to provide school leaders with the opportunity to pause, reflect, and be refreshed both spiritually and professionally. The theme for this year was “Hope.” Throughout the day, delegates heard from keynote speaker Joanna Adeyinka-Burford, as well as pupils and staff from two inspiring diocesan schools, St Wilfrid’s Church of England Primary and Queen Elizabeth’s Academy. Licensing of Craig Hunt as Vicar of St Mary’s Arnold
It was a joyful afternoon in Arnold on Sunday as the Revd Craig Hunt was licensed by Bishop Andy as Vicar of the Benefice of Arnold.
