A New Cohort of Apprentice Track Interns!

This week, we welcomed a brand-new cohort of interns onto the Apprentice Track! Over two days, the group gathered to worship, pray, and look ahead to all that God has in store for the coming year.

The induction days are a powerful moment where interns begin building relationships with their new cohort, step into their formation groups, and begin setting the tone for a year of growth, service, and discipleship. The days included teaching, space for reflection and an inspiring panel of previous interns who shared their biggest takeaways and insights on how to make the most of the Apprentice Track.

One former intern on the panel encouraged this year’s group by saying:

“You’re never going to end the year thinking, ‘I wish I gave God less.’ Everything you give Him this year, He will use. Press in wherever you can and let Him take you on a journey of deep discipleship—as well as letting him show you how He wants to use your gifts in ministry.”

We’re so excited for each intern who has chosen to give a year of their life to invest in their local church and be invested in by the incredible leaders of the YLC team – Megan and Duncan—who lead the Apprentice Track with so much care and vision, leading the interns through a transformative year of leadership, formation and ministry.

Megan, Year 1 Lead, shared: “Our first two days with our new cohort of interns has been a DEEP joy! It’s been a huge encouragement to see them step into a brand new environment with brand new people and dive straight into building relationships with each other and engaging with vulnerability. We are so excited for what God has in store for each of these young adults this year as they step into this new season with Him.”

We’re so excited to see all God does in and through the Apprentice Track interns this year – do join us in praying for them!
