Diocese Day of Prayer: November Highlights

On Thursday 13 November, across all four prayer gatherings, there were powerful times of sung worship, prayer, and listening to what God might be saying to us as a diocese. We prayed for the local church, for churches across the diocese, and for the church nationally.

At Holy Trinity Lenton, there was a chance to hear stories of students in the parish exploring and finding faith for the first time, and spend time praying for the local area and ministries across the city.

It was also a special time of prayer, worship, and intercession at St Christopher’s Sneinton, where Bishop Paul invited members from different parishes to share encouragements and stories of what God is doing, along with their prayers and hopes for the breakthroughs we are still seeking in our city and parishes.

In the evening, there were gatherings at St Giles West Bridgford and St Andrew’s Nottingham with more prayer and worship as voices were lifted together in prayer, devoting time and attention to the Lord across the city.

We are excited to invite you to the next Diocesan Day of Prayer coming up on Thursday 11th December. Use the link below to read more.
