National Parliamentary Prayer Breakfast 2025

The 2025 National Parliamentary Prayer Breakfast will take place on Tuesday 24 June from 7:30am to 9:00am in Westminster Hall in the Houses of Parliament. The aims of the event are to pray for our parliament, government and politics, to build relationships between church leaders and parliamentarians and to reflect upon the relevance of the Christian faith to our public life. The Breakfast is normally attended by The Speaker and Lord Speaker, The Prime Minister, The Leader of the Opposition, leaders of the political parties, MPs, Peers and church leaders from all over the United Kingdom.

The theme this year is ‘God in the public square?’ and the main speaker is John Lennox, Emeritus Professor of Mathematics at Oxford University. John is a globally renowned author and lecturer on the relationship between science, philosophy and religion. Music and singing will be led by the acclaimed hymn writers and GRAMMY nominated artists, Keith and Kristyn Getty. After the main breakfast, there will be a programme of seminars as well as a dedicated event for church leaders later in the morning.

A central aim of the event is for MPs and church leaders to attend together. Please invite your local MP to attend with you. We recommend inviting them by email and telephone. An example email invitation can be found here
