Ravenshead C of E Primary School Celebrates SIAMS Inspection Report
We are always happy to hear about the good things happening across our diocese, including in our schools. We join in celebrating Ravenshead C of E Primary School, Nottingham, on the results of its recent SIAMS inspection, which highlighted the school’s commitment to its Christian vision and values. The inspection report praised the school for its highly effective leadership, inclusivity, and the deep-rooted culture of love and kindness that permeates its community.
Head Teacher, Emma Johnson, expressed her pride in the report, stating, “We are very proud of the report and how it has captured our Christian vision of ‘love and kindness’ which our determined and passionate staff team ensure is lived out across school life.”
The inspection noted that, guided by the school’s vision and values, inclusivity and equity are high priorities. There is a profound culture of love and kindness for all children, regardless of their individual needs. This commitment ensures that every child has the opportunity toflourish academically, socially and spiritually.
Furthermore, the report highlighted the importance of a shared language of spirituality within the school, which allows both pupils and adults to thrive. This shared understanding positively influences how they view their experiences, fostering a well-developed sense of their relationships with themselves, others, the wider world, and God.
Collective worship at Ravenshead C of E Primary was also commended for creating a culture of reflection that supports the spiritual development of both pupils and staff. This aspect of school life not only enriches the educational experience but also nurtures a sense of community and belonging.
As Ravenshead C of E Primary moves forward, the school community is excited to continue building on these strengths, ensuring that the values of kindness, hope, courage, and respect remain at the heart of everything they do.
Please join us in praying for the teachers and students of Ravenshead, as well as for all their endeavors.
