The Archdeacons’ Visitation Dates 2026

Every year, the Archdeacons’ Visitations take place. These are formal church services at which Churchwardens from across each Archdeaconry are admitted to office.

This year there will be two services to choose from, both held at Southwell Minster:

7:00pm, Tuesday 2 June 2026 – Southwell Minster

7:00pm, Tuesday 21 July 2026 – Southwell Minster

A very warm welcome is extended to anyone who would like to attend. These Visitations provide an opportunity to show support for your Churchwardens as they are sworn into office. Both returning and newly appointed Churchwardens will be prayed for as we recognise their faithful and invaluable service to parishes and communities across the Diocese.
