On 7th Sunday of Easter and TKC Day 4 - Pray for the witness and evangelism of our diocesan link churches. The Ascended Jesus prays for his followers. He prays for the Unity of the Church and we commit ourselves in our diocesan vision to be one Church 'contending for the gospel'. We pray for all Christian people in our diocese for our common witness and the gift of our different traditions. Pray for all members of the Anglican Communion

TKC Day 3 - Pray for the witness and evangelism through our prison, hospital, university andworkplace Chaplains. Building community, breaking down hostilities: this is the work of our Blessed Lord, so much needed in our troubled world.We also pray for Te Pihopatanga o Tairawhiti – The Anglican Church in Aotearoa, New Zealand and Polynesia (Maori Tikanga).

TKC Day 1: Pray for the start of 'Thy Kingdom Come' on Ascension Day. We begin the journey through Thy Kingdom Come by receiving God’s blessing – so we might bless Him and in turn bless others. We also pray for The Diocese of Tabora – The Anglican Church of Tanzania.

Lord, we pray for those who are lonely and ask that they are comforted by your presence. We also pray for The Diocese of Sydney – The Anglican Church of Australia (New South Wales Province).

We pray for all refugees and asylum seekers who long for safety and security. We also pray for The Diocese of Swaziland – The Anglican Church of Southern Africa.
Bishop’s Address to Diocesan Synod
The Southwell and Nottingham Diocesan Synod met on 13th May 2023 in Holy Trinity Church, Southwell. As a body of representatives of clergy and lay people from across the deaneries, the Diocesan Synod usually meets biannually along with the bishops, archdeacons, diocesan members on General Synod and other senior post holders in the diocese, seeking to work collaboratively to move forward the mission of the Church. Bishop Paul addressed the Diocesan Synod.
