It’s been great to hear of some wonderful stories of baptisms across our diocese last month, including 4 adults and 1 youth baptism St Ann with Emmanuel Church and 2 youth baptisms at St Johns Bilbrough Woven. In both churches those being baptised were surrounded by their church community to pray and celebrate with them on this significant moment in their life. We’ve shared a couple of the encouraging stories below from St Ann’s Church: "Faith has always been a part

We’re so pleased to share that over 50 nurture courses are taking place across our diocese this spring. Reaching 50 was a prayerful aspiration we set at the start of the year, with each course representing an opportunity for people to explore faith and take their first steps in following Jesus. Whether the groups are large or small, each one is so significant. We’ve been encouraged by the early stories coming from these courses and are excited to share a

But Psalm 40 reminds us to be patient in hope, looking for the signs of a spiritual spring ahead. In these times, we’re called to renew our trust and faith in God, remembering all he has

"I never thought I'd be the person who would be healed." We're excited to share the next story in our Living Hope series today. Abbie grew up in church but stopped going as a teenager, instead falling into a pattern of drugs, alcohol and partying, particularly following a traumatic medical event. When she hit rock bottom and was experiencing the effects of PTSD, she turned back to God and experienced healing. Abbie is now based at Trinity Church Nottingham, and loves
