‘When this happens, this is a move of the Holy Spirit’

Have you heard of someone new coming to church recently? For ‘Start the Month’ in May, Bishop Paul and Sarah reflect on an encouraging season as we continue to hear stories of people entering into churches across our diocese, often for the first time.

Psalm 122 reminds us of the deep joy we can share as we ‘go to the house of the Lord’ and enter God’s presence together. It is here we can seek God and know his Living Hope afresh in our lives. As we reflect on this season, we would love to invite you to join an evening of prayer and worship this coming week: Thursday 8th May 7:30pm-9:00pm, as part of our diocesan day of prayer.

We want to particularly pray for ‘Growing Leaders’ – to celebrate and pray for leaders across the diocese, and also pray for those God may be calling at this time. We hope this will be an opportunity for all to be encouraged, refreshed and strengthened.
