An Evening of Burgers & Worship at the Apprentice Track Network Event

On Monday evening, young adults from churches across the diocese gathered at Holy Trinity Lenton for the final Apprentice Track Network Event of the academic year.

The evening began with a barbecue outside the church in the evening sunshine. It was a chance to catch up with old friends and make new ones over burgers. With around 14 churches represented in the gathering, it was great to be able to spend time together and hang out.

After this time of community, the group headed inside the church for a powerful time of prayer and worship. There was the opportunity to lift praises to God, to pray for one another, and to intercede for the things that God had laid on each person’s heart, with many praying for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the areas they live and in this generation. Anna Clarke, part of the AT team, shared from the passage in the gospels where Jesus heals blind Bartemaeus, encouraging each person to answer the question Jesus asks in Mark 10: “What do you want me to do for you?”.
