INEQE Safeguarding Audit: October Briefing

Preparation for the INEQE safeguarding audit in January 2026 continues at pace. The Diocese and Cathedral are busy sourcing, formatting and uploading evidence to INEQE’s 360° Audit Tool, the secure online platform through which all evidence for the audit will be submitted. To ensure the most productive use of time, INEQE’s approach is to analyse all available information in advance of site visits. This information is collected using INEQE’s 360° Safeguarding Audit Tool.

In this month’s briefing, read an update on the INEQE survey completion rates, discover how your parish can get involved, and hear from the new Cathedral Safeguarding Officer with the latest cathedral updates, including a message about the INEQE Safeguarding Review from the Dean of Southwell.

We’re aiming for 1,000 survey responses, and with just a few days left until the survey deadline on 5th November 2025, there’s still time to take part!
