LLM Opening Residential 2025

Last weekend, the new Licensed Lay Ministry (LLM) training year began at the Hayes Conference Centre in Swanwick. It was an opportunity for the cohort to get to know each other and share in worship and prayer, setting their eyes on the God who loves them and has called them to serve Him. We are excited to welcome 13 new first year students to the course, as well as 16 returning 2nd year students.

Angelika Bocchetti, School of Discipleship Lead, shared, “Our cohort of students bonded over food, discussions and fun games. Part of the fun was swapping socks to match up with a new prayer partner so that everyone is supported throughout the year! We’re so grateful for each person who is training this year and is following God’s call to serve Him in this way.”

We’re so thankful for the compassion, confidence, and courage of each training Licensed Lay Minister as they follow the call of God on their lives. We believe God is still calling people today. We’ll also soon be celebrating with the LLM Class of 2025, who will be licensed at Southwell Minster at the beginning of October. Look out for more information and hear their stories in the coming weeks.
