NEW RECTOR IN NEWARK

Revd. Danny Marshall at present Assistant Curate at St Mary Magdalene with St Leonard’s Newark, to be Rector at St Mary Magdalene with St Leonard’s Newark. Danny will be licensed on Sunday 6th September at 4pm at St Mary’s. Please pray for Danny and the congregations of St Mary’s and St Leonard’s as they prepare for this new season of ministry together.

Sean Barnes has joined the diocesan central support team at Jubilee House as Finance and Operations Director. Sean leads the diocesan finance team, helping to make long-term financial decisions and ensuring the diocese’s resources are effectively managed in alignment with the vision and mission. His duties include analysing departmental finances, creating budgets and working with the senior team to ensure the financial health and stability of the diocese. Sean succeeds Katrina Proctor who previously held this role.

Helen Moore has joined the diocesan central support team as Jubilee House Leadership Executive Assistant. Helen provides administrative and clerical support for the leadership team.

Lucy Grimsey will be leaving her role as Assistant Diocesan Safeguarding Officer this July, as she plans to work more flexibly on a self-employed basis which better suits her family circumstances. Lucy has made a significant contribution to the work of the Diocesan Safeguarding Team over the last five years, including the recent INEQE audit. Please join us in praying for Lucy as she prepares to leave this role and step into what comes next. We are advertising for her successor.
