Petertide Ordinations 2021

Petertide refers to the Sunday nearest to St Peter’s Day on 29 June and is traditionally one of the periods in the Anglican church for the ordination for new priests and deacons.  We are delighted to be able return to this tradition this year.

This weekend, on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th July, we warmly invite you to pray for nine priests, and five deacon ordinands in three services to be held at Southwell Minster. The services will be led by the Bishop of Southwell & Nottingham, Paul Williams on Saturday, and The Revd Dr Andy Emerton, Bishop of Sherwood on Sunday.

You can join the online service here at 1.30pm on Saturday where the following priest candidates will be ordained.
