Welcoming our new Leadership Track interns!

This week, a new cohort of interns on the Leadership Track headed to Launde Abbey to worship, pray, learn and begin looking ahead to the year ahead.

The Leadership Track is the second year of the diocesan internship programme. The cohort will spend the year investing in their spiritual growth and receiving discipleship and leadership teaching. The interns are placed in a range of churches and contexts across the diocese and will have practical opportunities throughout the year to grow as a leader and put their learning into practice.

The induction was a chance for interns to spend time together and hear some great teaching from Lauren Thomson (Rector of Wiverton in the Vale, and part of the Leadership Track team). There was also time to enjoy the beautiful spaces at Launde Abbey and reflect on the year ahead.

We’re excited to see how God works in and through each intern as they continue to serve in their placement churches and growing in faith, leadership and ministry. Please join us in praying for them as they take this next step!
