You’re Invited to DISCIPLE
We’re excited to be launching a brand new five-week video course series next term, DISCIPLE, designed to inspire and equip you to follow the teachings of Jesus into real life. The course will help to shape you as a disciple, exploring the 3C’s of the diocesan vision in detail & practice:
- Disciples motivated by compassion
- Disciples founded on confidence
- Disciples acting with courage
We’re premiering the course in 3 locations across the diocese, and would love to invite you to join in:
- Tuesdays at Clifton Parish (starting 14th April)
- Wednesdays at St Michael’s Farnsfield (starting 15th April)
- Thursdays at St Nicholas Bawtry (starting 7th May)
Over the 5 weeks, you’ll hear teaching rooted in Scripture, hear from followers of Jesus as they share what being a disciple looks like in their context and share some practices to help you take the next step, and hear stories that will inspire you on your discipleship journey.
Join Trine and Nav, our amazing presenters, as they take you on a journey. Hear teaching from James Halstead (Director of Discipleship & Ministry) and Angelika Bocchetti (School of Discipleship Lead), and stories from disciples across the diocese.
Each week, you’ll gather with people from a range of churches to worship together, watch an engaging video with teaching and stories, discuss in small groups, and pray for one another.
Everyone is welcome! DISCIPLE is for anyone who wants to spend time thinking about their life as a follower of Jesus and learn to follow his teachings in your every day life.
