Admission & Licensing of Lay Ministers 2022
On Saturday 8 October, we welcomed twelve candidates who were licenced as lay ministers by Bishop Andy Emerton, the Bishop of Sherwood, during a service held at Southwell Minster.

Start the Day on First Fridays with Bishop Paul and Sarah (146) – 7th October 2022
In a very blustery and beautiful setting for Start the Day this morning, Bishop Paul and Sarah read from Ps77 and speak about how you can know God is with you and always at work, especially when you feel alone or afraid. Bishop Paul also speaks about the Diocesan Day of Prayer next Thursday 13th October, including a special invitation to supper after Evensong in the Minster at 5.30pm or before Worship in the State Chamber at 7.45pm.
