MOVING ON

Revd. Chris Lion, at present Rector of the benefice of Newark-on-Trent, St Mary Magdalene with St Leonard here in the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham, is to be Rector of Godalming Minster in the Diocese of Guildford. Please pray for Chris as he prepares for this new chapter, and for the congregations of St Mary Magdalene and St Leonard’s as they prepare for the vacancy.

Revd. Kristine Mole has joined the central support team at Jubilee House as Parish Discipleship Enabler in the Discipleship & Ministry Team. Kristine will be offering support to parishes in helping to build a culture of discipleship as we seek to grow disciples of Christ with compassion, confidence and courage. Kristine was previously a curate at Lady Bady Church and continue to support ministry there, alongside her husband Jonathan. This post has been funded by the National Church. Please pray for Kristine as she steps into this new role.

Justin Crawford has joined the central support team at Jubilee House as HR Manager. Justin is the first point of contact for HR queries (internal and external), and offers support for parishes on policies & procedures, employment law, Ecclesiastical Terms of Service measure, case work and workforce planning. Please do pray for him as he steps into this role.

Sheetal Sharma has joined the central support team at Jubilee House as Senior Finance Officer. Sheetal will be handling queries regarding Deanery share statements & allocation of monies received. Please do pray for her as she steps into this role.

Gary Pitt is stepping back from his part-time role as Interim Director of Communications for the diocese this June. Gary has made a very significant contribution to the vision of diocesan communications over the past year and preparing the ground for future developments. Please do pray for him as he steps into this new chapter.
