Applications for the School of Worship 2025/26 are Now Open!
The School of Worship is a programme run by Trinity Church Nottingham open to leaders and teams from across the diocese and beyond. The Leadership Programme aims to resource those who lead contemporary sung worship and / or lead contemporary worship teams, deepening skills in leading worship and guiding others to encounter God. This is the third year of the programme, and previous contributors have included Tim Hughes, Graham Kendrick, Nick Herbert, Lucy Grimble and more.
The programme is designed to work alongside your personal and professional commitments, and you don’t need to be in a paid worship leader role to take part. It will take place over nine months, with webinars and in-person teaching. Topics covered will include a theology of worship, being a worshipper, leading in hard times, building a team and more. There will also be practical sessions on choosing songs, introduction to sound and leading a rehearsal.
Previous participants shared:
“I feel more confident going into planning worship sets, but also knowing what I want to lead people into.”
“The golden nuggets of advice that we’ve received from the guests on the programme have been amazing – it will help me to lead people into a place where they can respond to and hear from God.”
“It’s been great to look at all different types of worship, the history of worship, what the Bible teaches us about worship and focussing on where worship fits into the Christian walk.”
Applications are open until 7th September. For more information and to apply, please click here.
We’re so pleased to share this exciting resource with you and encourage you to consider whether the programme may be suitable for you or someone in your church, as together we continue to pursue inspiring worship and grow leaders across the diocese.
