Easter at St Swithun’s Retford

Easter was a joyful and uplifting time at St Swithun’s, Retford, with worship, creativity, and celebration bringing the church community together.

The Easter journey began with a Maundy Thursday Worship Night, followed on Good Friday by All-Age Creative Stations and a moving time of Reflections on the Cross. Families of all ages came together to experience the Easter story in a hands-on and meaningful way.

On Easter Sunday, the church gathered for a Big Easter Celebration, which included a much-enjoyed Easter egg hunt for the children.

It was wonderful to welcome many new families, with 150 people attending in total, including 36 children and young people under the age of 16.
