A Powerful Easter Sunday at Lady Bay Church, All Hallows
“Easter Sunday in Lady Bay felt like a taste of heaven“. It was such a joyful service, rejoicing in the resurrection of Jesus and celebrating six baptisms. The church witnessed two children, one of our wedding couples and three young adults take this step of faith.

Holy Week at St Laurence Norwell (Beck & Trent Benefice)
Congregations from across the Beck & Trent Benefice came together during Holy Week for worship, fellowship, and reflection. On Palm Sunday, worshippers gathered at St Laurence, Norwell to celebrate Jesus’s entry into Jerusalem with a service, palm crosses and even a pony, representing the donkey Jesus rode.

Easter was marked with a reflective and joyful series of services at St Nic’s. On Maundy Thursday, the church held a Tenebrae service with Holy Communion to remember the Last Supper. Throughout the service, the church gradually darkened, symbolising the approaching darkness of Jesus’ death on the cross.

Holy Week and Easter Celebration at St Michael’s Bramcote
Holy Week at St Michael’s Bramcote was a rich journey of worship, reflection, and celebration, as the church community moved from Palm Sunday through to the joy of Easter Day!

Lent, Paschal Triduum and Easter at All Saints Radford
The congregation of All Saints Church Radford enjoyed a well-attended Lent study group, following Lent Wise: Spiritual Essentials for Real Life by Paula Gooder. The course focused on finding direction, keeping going, gaining wisdom, finding security, and enjoying refreshment in the journey of Christian discipleship.
It’s so wonderful to hear the many ways God’s Living Hope is being shared across the city, towns and villages of Nottinghamshire and beyond.
