Easter Celebrations at St Nic’s
Easter was marked with a reflective and joyful series of services at St Nic’s.
On Maundy Thursday, the church held a Tenebrae service with Holy Communion to remember the Last Supper. Throughout the service, the church gradually darkened, symbolising the approaching darkness of Jesus’ death on the cross. This led into a reflective meditation service on Good Friday.

Easter Day began with a vibrant multicultural celebration in the morning, including a retelling of the Resurrection story from the perspective of Peter, bringing the Easter message to life in a fresh and engaging way.

The celebrations concluded in the evening with a special baptism service, where 13 people were baptised — a powerful and joyful witness to new life and faith at the heart of Easter.
