DISCIPLE Course launches in Ollerton and Stapleford
Our new DISCIPLE Course launched this week with over 35 churches represented across the two evenings. Disciple began on Tuesday evening at St Paulinus Church in New Ollerton hosted by Revd. Richard Hanford and worship led by a team from The Potting Shed. Whilst on Thursday evening, the team at St Helen's Stapleford hosted guests from many churches in the surrounding area. Bishop Paul champions early interventions and foster carers that support children in care
In the House of Lords yesterday Bishop Paul spoke in the debate on the number of children being committed into the care of local authorities. You may have already received the sad news that George Cassidy, Bishop of Southwell and Nottingham from 1999-09, died peacefully on the 29th March following a serious stroke three weeks ago.
