‘Guide me, God. What is your purpose for my life?’ Nimisha recently shared her story with us, including how she came to be a Licensed Lay Minister (LLM). When her vicar initially suggested LLM training, she was unsure how she would manage it. But through God’s provision and the help of those around her, she stepped into her calling. When Kelly was rushed into hospital, she realised how alone she felt, but through the kindness of a friend she found community in her local church and that there was more to life than she realised. “I dropped everything and moved to Nottingham, because this is where God was speaking to me.” Georgie sat down with us to share her story of how she’s been following God’s call over the past few years. Graduating during the coronavirus pandemic, Georgie’s plans had to change, but she met with God in unexpected way and following his voice to Nottingham. "Everything is given over to God." We’re so excited to share Katrina’s story with you. Katrina is the Finance Director for our Diocese and has such an encouraging story of faith after her application to a ‘9-5’ led to so much more. She is currently training to be a Licensed Lay Minister as she continues to follow God’s leading on her life. Katrina is based at St Mary's Sutton-in-Ashfield. Josie is a student in Nottingham, and after realising for herself how much she needed God in her late teens, over the past few years has had lots of opportunities to share her faith with her friends at university. “Since that day my life has been changed.” Neil recently joined us to share his story of how a detour on his way to the gym when he was struggling with poor mental health, led to a life-changing encounter with Jesus. Lord, I need you – Dylan’s Living Hope Story
“No matter who you are, God loves you.” We loved hearing Dylan's story, and his joy in sharing his faith with the next generation. Dylan has grown up going to church with his mum and brother, but he discovered faith for himself at a church camp, which was reaffirmed when he found himself in a situation where he really needed God to show up.
