LLM Licensing Service 2025
It was a joyful service on Saturday as many gathered at Southwell Minster to celebrate the licensing of 15 new LLM candidates. The service was led by Bishop Andy, and it was a truly special occasion in the presence of family and friends.

The first Bible reading was from John 21:1-6, and the second from Luke 10:17-24. The sermon, preached by the Revd Lydia Cartwright (Team Rector at Clifton Parish), was a powerful reminder of the power of the name of Jesus. She encouraged that we have the vote of confidence to bear that name of Jesus on behalf of Him in our Christian journey.
“The name of Jesus is so powerful – His name is called and amazing things happen.”
She also encouraged us to remember that even more wonderful than signs of power is the assurance that our names are written in heaven. Our faith is not about what we can achieve in Jesus’ name, but about what He has already accomplished for us through God’s amazing love and grace.
She left the candidates with some wise advice: ‘Pack light, be kind, and stay close to Jesus.’

We are so thankful for each of our new LLMs and pray that the Lord will continue to pour out his blessing upon them and their ministry.
