Stories of Living Hope Account Launched!

We’re delighted to share that this month we’ve launched our Stories of Living Hope account on Instagram. Since the launch of our refreshed vision in 2024, we’ve had the joy of collecting stories of hope and transformation from across Nottinghamshire and beyond. We believe in the power of testimony and the way it can inspire and encourage others to go deeper in their faith. From experiences of walking into church for the very first time, to growing up in challenging family circumstances, working abroad as a midwife, or serving as intern in a local church, all of the stories are united by the way Jesus has brought transformation and hope into their lives. 

Every day in our diocese people are encountering the good news of Jesus, and we wanted to capture a small part of that through these videos. We hope that by storing these all in one dedicated place, it will be easy to share these stories with those outside of the church or those new to faith. It might be helpful to share some of these videos at the start of church services or in home groups to ‘encourage one another and build each other up’ 1 Thessalonians 5:11-18.

We would love you to follow the account and share this with others. For those of you not on Instagram, we will also be creating a coffee table book of stories which can be ordered. News on this will follow very shortly. Over the next few weeks we’ll also begin our second round of filming, and so if you have a story you would like to share please do get in touch with our comms team here. We’d love to hear from you.
