Today, we pray for Worksop College and The Diocese of All Saints – The Anglican Church of Kenya.

Bishop’s Address to Diocesan Synod
The Southwell and Nottingham Diocesan Synod met on 13th May 2023 in Holy Trinity Church, Southwell. As a body of representatives of clergy and lay people from across the deaneries, the Diocesan Synod usually meets biannually along with the bishops, archdeacons, diocesan members on General Synod and other senior post holders in the diocese, seeking to work collaboratively to move forward the mission of the Church. Bishop Paul addressed the Diocesan Synod.

October 7th
As Goose Fair comes to a close after welcoming more than 400,000 visitors, we pray for our city and for all who live and work in it. We also pray for The Diocese of Saint Albans – The Church of England.
Start the Day on First Fridays with Bishop Paul and Sarah (160) – 6th October 2023
In a Start the Day message on the first Friday in October, Bishop Paul and Sarah speak about how to replace fear with love through prayer. They quote Corrie ten Boom: ‘Worry is a cycle of inefficient thoughts whirling around a centre of fear.’ Also the words of an old hymn: ‘How sweet the name of Jesus sounds…he soothes our sorrows, heals our wounds, and drives away our fears.’
