Apply for Net Zero Carbon Quick Wins grants of up to £10,000
Now that you’ve completed the Energy Footprint Tool, your church can apply for a Net Zero Carbon Quick Wins grant of up to £10,000 to help you kickstart a net zero project.
Funded by the Church of England’s Net Zero Carbon Programme, NZC Quick Wins grants are for churches (and church halls) looking to start new decarbonisation projects. Eligible projects include initiatives like installing new LED lighting, zoned heating controls, insulation/draught-proofing or efforts to reduce the use of gas and oil for heating. Please read the eligibility criteria carefully before applying.
Sally Dunleavy, the diocesan Net Zero Carbon Support Officer, will manage the grant applications made in this diocese. The awarding of the grants themselves will then be decided by an Awards Panel which will meet in September. If you are unsuccessful in this round of applications, please do not be discouraged. There will be another opportunity to apply for grants next year.
Contact Sally if you have any questions about the process.
This year’s applications have a submission deadline of 10th August 2026.
