New Canon Missioner, The Revd Paul Rattigan
On Saturday 22 January, Bishop Paul installed The Revd Paul Rattigan as Southwell Minster's first ever Canon Missioner.

The first GP chaplaincy service in Nottinghamshire has begun its pilot at the Windmill Practice in Sneinton, with a particular focus on those who have suffered loss. The chaplaincy’s first users have said they feel heard "like never before".
A Rocha UK’s Eco Church Awards
A Rocha UK’s Eco Church Awards require the churches who apply to demonstrate their commitment to caring for creation, ranging from optimising energy efficiency to discussing climate change in sermons. Recently, the diocese has reached the 5% threshold of Bronze Award churches which we need to achieve a Bronze Eco Diocese Award. In Memory of Colin Slater MBE
We are saddened to hear that Colin Slater MBE died yesterday. While many tributes have been offered to Colin as ‘the Voice of Notts County’, he was also a man of deep faith. Colin made a remarkable and inspirational contribution to diocesan and synodical life and witness in Southwell and Nottingham.
