Start the Day on Good Friday with Bishop Paul and Sarah (154) – 7th April 2023

In a special Start the Day for Good Friday, Bishop Paul and Sarah speak from a sunny hillside overlooking Southwell Minister – reflecting on the fresh wonder of the cross where Jesus reveals the costly depths of God’s love for the world.

Reading from Psalm 96, they also speak about the new song our hearts can sing in every season of life because of Jesus – Joanne Arton and Neil Wilson then sing ‘My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus blood and righteousness’.

Bishop Paul is preaching at the Easter Morning Service in Southwell Minster at 10am which will be broadcast live on BBC1, with Dean Nicola leading along with the Southwell Minster Choir. Everybody is warmly invited to join the service at the Minster and are asked to be seated by 9.30am.
