A Rocha UK’s Eco Church Awards
A Rocha UK’s Eco Church Awards require the churches who apply to demonstrate their commitment to caring for creation, ranging from optimising energy efficiency to discussing climate change in sermons. Recently, the diocese has reached the 5% threshold of Bronze Award churches which we need to achieve a Bronze Eco Diocese Award. More than 50 of our churches are working towards their Eco Church status now, of which 16 have at least a bronze award. St Patrick’s Nuthall achieved their silver

In Memory of Colin Slater MBE
We are saddened to hear that Colin Slater MBE died yesterday. While many tributes have been offered to Colin as ‘the Voice of Notts County’, he was also a man of deep faith. Colin made a remarkable and inspirational contribution to diocesan and synodical life and witness in Southwell and Nottingham.

Bluecoat Wollaton Academy has received a rating of 'Excellent' for how effective the school’s distinctive Christian vision is and how it is promoted by leadership to support pupils and staff to flourish in their faith following their SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) Church Inspection.
