Appointment Process for Church Governors in Church Schools and Church Academies

The following paperwork must be completed by all new applicants and existing church governors wishing to serve a further term of office.

Diocesan Training for Church Governors

The Diocesan Education Team offers various training sessions annually to support Church school governors and governing boards

Newly appointed governors must complete two foundation governor training sessions with the Diocesan Education team, within 12 months of their appointment.  Please contact Ally Horne on 01636 817236 or email: ahorne@southwell.anglican.org to arrange to attend the diocesan governor training course, which is specific to the important role you have taken on.
